    ^(B)the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
⁷ But ^(C)like Adam they ^(D)transgressed the covenant;
    ^(E)there they dealt faithlessly with me.
^8 (F)Gilead is a city of evildoers,
    ^(G)tracked with blood.
